1. INTRODUCTION

This is the terms and conditions for Yasmin How You Know Trivia ("Contest"). The following terms and conditions stated herein shall be binding upon all Participants entered into this Contest. Entry and participation in this Contest shall be deemed an unconditional acceptance by the Participant to adhere strictly to all Terms and Conditions.

2. ORGANISER

The Organiser is Star Reacher Advertising Sdn Bhd ("Organiser").

3. DURATION

The Contest will run from 17th of August 2012 until 28th of August 2012 ("Contest Period") unless notified otherwise. Both dates are inclusive. The Organiser reserves the right to extend the Contest period at its own discretion.

4. ELIGIBILITY

This Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above.

5. METHOD OF ENTRY

Participants must register their details in order to submit their scores and be in the running to win the prize.

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry, which in the opinion of the Organiser is involved in fraudulent activity (software/hardware hacking). The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify a winner in the event that the Organizer discovers the Participant's ineligibility before / after awarding the prize to the winner.

6. CONTEST MECHANICS

Participants can access the Contest via https://howyouknow.yasminahmad.com.

The contest requires Participants to be the first 100 to answer 5 or more trivia questions correctly in order to win.

7. PRIZE(s)

1 set of limited edition autographed postcards, per entry.

8. WINNERS ANNOUCEMENTS

Winners will receive notification via email and must claim their prize at the Yasmin How You Know book launch on the 28^th of August in Kinokuniya at 10am. Winners may be required to produce their Identity Cards for verification.

9. PRIZES CLAIMS

Prize(s) which have not been claimed at the Yasmin How You Know book launch on the 28^th of August in Kinokuniya, KLCC at 10am, shall be forfeited by the Organiser and the Organiser, its subsidiaries, its agents, sponsors and representatives shall have no liability to the Winner in any respect whatsoever.

In special situations, and subject to the absolute discretion of the Organiser, a Winner may nominate a designated representative to collect the Prize. The representative will be required to present written authorization from the Winner and identification, which includes a photograph for both the Winner and their representative.

No prize replacement claim will be entertained.

9b. Transfer and utilization of Prizes

The Organiser reserves the right to a replacement of the prize at its discretion and without prior notice in the event that a specified prize becomes unavailable.

10. RELEASE AND INDEMNITY

All Participants are fully responsible for any injuries, damages or claims resulting from their participation in this contest and/or from the usage of the prizes. By accepting or collecting any prize, the Participants agrees to indemnify Organiser, all its business partners, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and/or agencies, together with their respective directors, employees and assigns and any other participating sponsors related to this contest, from any claim, prosecution, judgement, damage, loss or liability which all prize winners may have or suffer, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Contest, (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the Participants as a result of their participation in the Contest and in the use and/or enjoyment and/or acceptance of the prizes won by the prize winner, or (iii) the use of prize winner's name(s), likeness, biography, voice(s) or videotape recordings of the prize winner by Organiser or otherwise in connection with or related to the Contest referred to herein pursuant to the permission hereby granted.

11. DECISIONS FINAL

All matters or decisions relating to this Contest, Prize and all Terms and Conditions shall be final, conclusive and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained.

12. GENERAL

All terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this Contest in the event that it becomes not capable of running as planned, technically interfered or corrupted, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bus, tampering, unauthorised intervention (including hacking with software or hardware), fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organiser, despite the best efforts of the Organiser.

The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest mechanics, the operation of this Contest or to be in violation of all Terms and Conditions.

For the avoidance of doubt, no information of any nature about the Contest or the Prize or any of terms and conditions should be relied upon unless confirmed in writing by the Organiser. The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of the whole or part of the terms and conditions does not affect or impair the continuation in force of the remainder terms and conditions.

The Organiser in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to publish and/or display names and photographs of the winners for advertising and publicity purposes without any royalty or compensation including, without limitation, any taping(s) and recording(s) in connection with the Contest.
